February-(15-22)-2025
This three sessions workshop instructed by Artists (Haidar Alhaibe, Layla Alammari, Omnia Alamir) focused on the transformation of personal memories into visual narratives. Participants engaged with contemporary artworks addressing memory, examining themes such as the associations evoked by objects, places, and symbols, as well as the concepts of repetition, reappearance, and 'active' forgetting.

Throughout the sessions, participants worked closely with the instructors to develop skills in storytelling, character and environment design, and experimented with mixed media techniques combined with loose drawing exercises to produce layered and experimental works.

The workshop concluded with the refinement and presentation of individual pieces, incorporating both visual and written elements, inspired by group discussions and personal memory exploration.
